Proofreading

Marketing material, brochures, annual reports. They’re all expensive items, designed to impress.

Make sure they don’t let you down because of spelling mistakes, grammatical errors or typos. Like incontinent instead of incompetent. Yes, it has happened. Or the ‘personalised’ proposal sent to one company, but with the name of their rival left in. I’ve had it sent to me.

You’ll raise a few giggles, but that’s about all.

Mistakes are so easy to overlook. You can get too close to your own work and you will see what you want to see. And let’s face it reading through documents you’ve been working on for weeks is just plain boring. You want them out but it’s not worth cutting corners at this stage.

Fortunately for you, I don’t find it boring at all. In fact I love the challenge! I’ve even done proofreading tests just for fun (yes, really!).

I can bring a fresh pair of eyes to your documents before you unleash them. If something isn’t right, I’ll route it out.
