They wanted their first annual report to be fresh and dynamic to reflect their approach.I was commissioned to write four articles for the report that had to be engaging and readable for a potential busy audience.I worked through Oakleaf Communications – a PR consultancy specialising in the not-for-profit sector, but liaised directly with the client. wanted to break with the traditional annual report format. They wanted something more modern and eye-catching.They were aware that the audience for the report comprises high-level politicians, diplomats, heads of civil society organisations, as well as supporters and members of the public.
The copy needed to be concise and punchy enough to be read in a hurry, but it also had to keep in mind its highly intelligent readers.
